Authors and review
No page on this site currently carries a named author, and every byline renders as an empty slot. That is honest rather than modest: inventing a writer, a reviewer or a credential is the fastest way to make everything else on the site unbelievable, so the fields stay empty until real people are attached to them.
Specialist subjects need specialist review: an Egyptologist for the ancient pages, and — this one is not optional — a Nubian editor for the Nubia section before it is marked reviewed. Until then the section carries a visible slot saying the appointment is pending.
Every record also carries a translation status, and all of them currently read “needs review”. The Arabic on this site is written for Arabic readers rather than translated word for word, and it still needs a native editor to read it before we claim otherwise.
