How we work
Guide first, commerce second. We write the guide, we say when we do not know something, and we do not print a price, an opening time or an access status that nobody has verified. Where a commercial operator makes a claim, we label it as their claim.
Most of the volatile values on this site are deliberately blank, and they render as a dashed grey gap. That is the design rather than an unfinished page: a price we printed six months ago is worse than no price, because it becomes the figure you argue about at the gate.
Ticket prices and opening hours carry a 30–60 day review cycle, transport 90 days or sooner, permits 30–90, and the historical pages an annual review. Anything outside its window shows as empty.
No scores out of ten. No star rating we did not award. No manufactured urgency — no countdowns, no “2 left”, no “11 people viewing”. No invented author. No captive-animal attraction listed as a thing to do. And no recommendation to swim in the Nile, which we would need current local guidance to make.
